The National Advisory Board is democratically elected to support athletes and members by addressing emerging issues of broad potential impact and developing policies for the organization when needed.

Who is eligible to serve: All USASF Professional Members.
Membership: Members are nominated by their peers and voted in by the USASF membership.
Term: Two years.
Commitment: Members must comply with the NAB Code of Conduct and attend both semi annual meetings.

National Advisory Board (NAB) Elections
Eligible Coaches & Owners will be asked to cast their ballot in the National Advisory Board Election between February 12th and 15th. Ballots will be emailed on Monday, February 12th and coaches will have until 12 midnight on February 15th to cast their ballot.

The members of the National Advisory Board (NAB) are elected to discuss and create solutions for current and trending policy issues which are recommended to the Board of Directors. The NAB is comprised of 10 event producers, 10 coaches and 5 affiliates, totaling 25 members. NAB members serve a two year term.

How are NAB Members Elected?

  • Eligible coaches and owners elect the Coach/Owner Representative from their own region to serve on the NAB.
  • Eligible coaches, eligible owners, Event Producers and Affiliate Members elect the Affiliate Representatives to serve on the NAB. The following people will receive a ballot to cast their vote for the Affiliate Representatives:
    • Eligible coaches and owners who are recognized as professional members on or before February 1, 2018 will receive a ballot.
    • The official contact registered for each event producer member will receive a ballot.
    • The official contact registered for each affiliate member will receive a ballot.
  • Event Producer Members elect the Event Producers to serve on the NAB. Each member company will receive one vote. The contact registered as the official contact with the USASF will be sent the ballot to cast the vote for that member company.
