 January 12, 2010 - In an effort to offer affordable local educational opportunities, the USASF has decided to restructure their yearly Coaches Conference by offering Regional Meetings during the Spring and Summer of 2010.
For the past 5 years, the USASF has offered one large coaches conference and tradeshow in Orlando, FL following The Cheerleading & Dance Worlds. At this annual event the USASF was able to provide some of the best known and respected; elite level coaches, choreographers and gym owners as speakers.
Last summer, the USASF piloted an initiative to offer more regionalized events on a smaller scope as a way to reach more of its members. The feedback we received from coaches for hosting localized events was so positive that we are expanding that program to offer many more throughout the country in the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2010. The USASF will offer their regional meetings to bring those same high quality presentation speakers and classes to an area closer to you. Besides the wide array of classes, the Regional Meetings also offer USASF Coach Credentialing and Re-Credentialing. In addition, some Regional Meetings will offer AACCA Safety Certification, CPR and First Aide Certifications.
Listed below are dates scheduled thus far, for the Regional Meetings. For further details you can contact your Regional Director, or check www.usasf.net. Over the next several weeks the USASF office will be updating information, including additional dates and locations, class lists, speakers and the registration procedures.
