USASF Membership Benefits The USASF is a not for profit whose purpose and mission is to maximize the number of participants benefiting from the positive life experience of all star cheerleading and dance. In efforts to realize this mission the USASF is giving back to you! Below is a list of member benefits. If you have any questions or have not received information on these please contact the USASF office. The USASF recognizes that there is a wide range of skill levels among all-star programs throughout the country, and the importance of accommodating the needs of all gyms no matter their degree of technical competence or size. Accordingly, the Federation has skill levels to maximize participation at all ages and degrees of accomplishment, including those participants that do not yet possess tumbling ability. In addition, the USASF has developed a safety and education program that will be in concert with the rules governing its skill levels, so as to provide logical and safe progressions, as well as a credentialing program to credential participants, coaches, and safety judges. The Federation has drawn upon a variety of resources to develop a safety, education, and credentialing program specifically tailored to all-star programs. The intent and expectation of doing so is to create a rules structure that will be adopted by a wider range of coaches and gyms than any alternative. |
